The retail use category of appraisal includes a large variety of retail uses. Retail uses include free-standing general retail stores, multi-tenant retail centers including neighborhood center, regional retail center, sub-regional centers, and power centers. This category also includes auto rental facilities, auto repair facilities, retail service properties, mini-markets, grocery stores, and many other property types. Many times a retail center will have an anchor tenant included a nationally recognized restaurant, fast-food restaurant, large box retailer, or specialty retailer.
